The Apple Original Airport Extreme Base Station Model A1034 supports an 802.11b/g wireless LAN that allows up to 50 Macs or PCs to be connected to the internet via a DSL or cable modem, or via an optional internal dial-up modem. It was introduced in January 2003 to replace the original Airport Base Station.
The Apple original AirPort Extreme Base Station runs on an AMD Alchemy Au1500 processor which is based on the MIPS architecture.
