The Behringer MS-1 Analog Synthesiser is a design harkening back to a simpler but great sounding time. 1 Envelope, 1 LFO and 1 Oscillator, it’s very simple each part sounds and works great to give you everything from screeching leads to phat basslines and sequenced squelchy chaos all thanks to the 3340 VCO chip and carefully crafted filter.
Musicians like Peanut from The Kaiser Chiefs have even included the MS-1 on his live rig to recreate the old sounds from tracks such as Every Day I Love You Less and Less live on stage.
Used by some musical titans, but simple enough that a beginner can get cracking and start learning the world of synths, the Behringer MS-1 Analog Synthesiser hits that magical sweet spot.
Simplicity:
At its heart, the MS-1 is a ...
Squelching and connectivity:
The raw 3340 already sounds raw and phat, the filter with the resonance cranked gives this iconic “Squelch”, the likes can be heard in a lot of electronic acts and music. The MS-1 also plays very well with effects pedals like delays, reverb and specially distortion, really expanding its creativity.
Full Size + Mod Grip:
The faders being full size encourage not only playability live, but they also offer you the chance to really dial in that perfect tone and hit that “Sweet spot”. The included Mod Grip also allows you to strap up and rock out.
